Karl was born in Ludvika in Sweden but now resides in Lexington, KY, where he attended the University of Kentucky and received a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He currently works as an IT Director and Information Systems Architect for Caribbean Tours and Cruises where he heads up business strategy and technology innovation. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving, especially techical diving, mountain biking, skiing, reading, listen to music, especially Pearl Jam, and any DIY project.
